This is what happens when it gets choppy!  That's
why Nancy traditionally flies home from Norfolk so
as to avoid the potentially rough spots between here
and Portsmouth, NH.  There are often quite a few!
The Norfolk & Southern RR bridge, the last of several
bridges that must be cleared before arriving in Norfolk.

A note about mileage...
There's been interest (in recent e-mails) about how
our new 4-bladed props might be affecting our
fuel
mileage
.  So far this spring, our mileage has been a
bit lower than last year's trip, but I think it's too
early to reach any conclusions.  Recently, we've
had a fair amount of headwinds and strong adverse
current.  Also,
Sno' Dog is heavily loaded: we've got
luggage from both Nancy's parents and my mother
that we are ferrying north for them.  The bed in our
guest cabin is piled with bags and boxes - probably
an extra 400 lbs of stuff!
Another boardwalk, this time in Surf City.  Great little
town: a beach, a market, restaurants and an ICW park.
