For a Full List of Sno' Dog Equipment, please Contact Us. When we placed our
order for Sno' Dog (in the fall of 2005) we selected virtually every option offered
back then - except for a washer/dryer and a watermaker. Over the years, we
have made many additions and improvements.
The performance of a power catamaran is very dependent on weight. We've worked
hard to keep down the weight of Sno' Dog. As a result, she continues to be a FAST boat -
she cruises easily at 15-knots and has a top speed of 20 knots. (I don't think you'll
find a faster PDQ 34 - even with 110-HP engines. We have engaged in some friendly
competitions and we've always prevailed!)
Beware of overloaded boats, they tend to get a bit doggy - Sno' Dog is no dog! Also, a
full enclosure for the flybridge is a negative, IMHO. It adds considerable windage, and is
completely unnecessary. This boat has an excellent inside helm and this is the place to be
in bad weather. In rough weather the ride is better and, with windshield wipers, the
visibility is much better than looking through a rain-spattered flybridge enclosure.
