Canal Cruise in Brittany
At a lock near Malestroit, FRANCE
The whole crew aboard our Pénichette 1180FB on the Canal de Nantes à Brest in Brittany, France
As we did last fall, we chartered a Locaboat Pénichette in France -
this time in Brittany, a part of France we had never seen. Joining us
on this adventure were our friends, and former PDQ owners, Paul
and Ann Gooding. We set off from the base in Saint-Martin-sur-Oust
on a 10-day, one-way trip to Melesse, Locaboat's other Brittany.base.

St-Martin-sur-Oust to Melesse - is highlighted in yellow. We first
headed out to Malestroit, then came back past St-Martin to La Gacilly.

Transiting a turbulent lock - approaching Pont Réan.
We used our auto GPS on the boat - just for fun.
