Madison the snow dog - 1996-2012
aboard the Sno' Dog
Madison appeared to like the cruising life. She was our faithful companion on many a trip.

The photo that graces our SnoDogLog website. Taken by by
Nancy's mother, Belle McKusick in Bucksport, ME in July 2006.

Docked in Marathon, FL. Boaters in the background are
assembled for the nightly sunset ceremony - which involves a
lot of blowing into conch shells. As you can see, Madison was
too not fond of this activity, I think she thought some animal
was in great distress!
One of Madison's favorite cruising positions -
in calm weather, at least.
What, no life jacket? Madison demonstrated on
several occasions that she could swim, but like
Nancy, she didn't appear to like it much.

Arriving in Marathon, Florida - in February 2008.
Our very last photo of Madison, taken on
June 9th, 2012 aboard our newest boat, the
KELINA. But that's another story - see
SnoDogLog - June 2012.
Madison was actually 10 years old when we got the Sno' Dog, but she adapted well - for an old lady!
